A Brief History of Radio
Written by admin on January 29, 2010 – 4:48 am -It is expected that almost every family in the United States at least one radio. The invention of radio depends on the two previous discoveries: the electromagnet and telegraph.
The electromagnet was discovered in 1825. This discovery opens the doors to global communication! Five years later, Joseph Henry successfully received an electrical current through the wire that is already more than a kilometer and a relaxed, what causes an electromagnet, in response to the sound of aBell. Thus the electric telegraph was born. One of the most famous names in connection with the telegraph, Samuel Morse, who is most famous for the number of dots (short sound) and dashes (more sustained sound) which was used to send messages through the alphabetical code (then known as "Morse code). Courier was the only option for rapid communication distance up to 1877 and the invention of the telephone.
The batteries are interesting, is not it? Used by consumers generally, small tools, but powerful Lunch electricity used for many cameras, clocks, radios and other equipment. What makes this generation? In the case of telephone and it is early in the design and use of laptops made with the source of electrical energy needed for the magnet.
The batteries are two extremes, as has been rewarded with a + or positive, and the second – or negative. If a battery operated device is switched on, electrons emitted frombatteries, moving quickly from the negative side to the positive side of batteries. No need to interrupt the rapid flow of electrons or the batteries are fully exhausted in a short time to find. To get an argument frequently between positive and negative terminals and a load, possibly as a radio, the creation of a small magnetic field at the wire. Electromagnetic waves that are still present today, the ability to transmit sound (words, music and so on)well as visual images onopgespoor through the eyes through the air.
There are many researchers who need the phone, as is well known that most of us say. Mahlon Loomis fixed wireless telegraph. Guglielmo Marconi, proved the possibility of radio communication. In 1985 Marconi sends and receives a radio signal. Using Morse code, became the first wireless signal across the English Channel and get the correct time sent, couldMorse has received the letter S, which began in England and Newfoundland, which was the beginning of the Atlantic telegraph (1902) to achieve.
Wireless signals acquired profound used as a communication tool for relief when there was an accident at sea. In 1899, the U. S. Army has begun to use wireless communications due to a little 'off Fire Island. For the U.S. Navy is about two years behind the army for the use of wireless telegraphy.
In 1903,President Roosevelt (Theodore) and King Edward VII disseminated through new technologies and improved. The famous Robert Perry used telegraphy, sent the message that he had found the Antarctic.
The AM radio the first time in the world of telecommunications in 1900. This device consists of waves of use of a poor as possible for communication. E 'was the moment when the radio period, as we know it today, for radio equipment, began to be used.
It is believed that on 23 December 1900, is Professor Reginald Aubrey Fessenden was the first person to successfully transmit the human voice using radio waves. In 1915, he was first sent through the United States began in New York and sent to San Francisco. Some of the recent transfer has occurred over the Atlantic Ocean from Arlington, Virginia, in Paris, the Eiffel Tower.
It 'really interesting all the scientists and theories of physics that led to the invention of> Radio. Marconi, Alexander Popov, Oliver Lodge Fessenden and many others, have all made significant contributions to an invention made the world differently, there is probably none of them would have thought. The radio was born.
