Satellite Radio – My review of the Sirius Stiletto II Receiver
Written by admin on April 10, 2010 – 9:39 am -Ok so I'm a big fan of the National Football League, especially a big fan of the New York Giants. I do not live in their area of transmission, and when not on TV in my area and I have to go to a local pub, or a friend's house that could have DirectTV football package.
But I really do not want to spring for a plate and a decrease in my cable and I'm tired of going to a game to see, so I went with satellite radio. Then I boughtMy satellite receiver (which, just above), Sirius and XM are two different companies. They are grouped, so I think the NFL broadcasts on the XM receiver and can get.
I bought the Stiletto receiver II. This is a small portable receiver, you can take with you. It comes with headphones that receive the satellite signal, so you can go for a jog or even walk outside and listen to your favorite stations. There is also space for a microSDchip. I have a chip with 1 GB of additional storage space, but the chip is not required to operate the radio.
Here's the thing I like about it. For starters, the list of channels you have available huge. From comedy to rock to hip-hop and sports, everything is there. The receiver offers enough space to save your favorite stations, so you can find them quickly. For additional cost you can purchase the home kit or car kit that allows simple plug and playthe receiver anywhere.
What I like about it is the price. It 'was very expensive at around $ 200, this additional amount of $ 40 each for home and car receivers. House sole beneficiary is wrong if not an obstacle to the antenna signal is weak and you want to ask the antenna sitting on the roof. I was not the problem itself, but one of my friends did. As for the receiver in your car, you car radio to coordinate an effort that is not in usearea of the satellite signal receiver. It's not that hard to do, but if you left the area the opportunity well, the station itself somewhere else and work as I recently discovered during a trip to Outer Banks in North Carolina. So do some research before the right channels to coordinate.
In general, I absolutely love. It was worth the price of the equipment that I bought for membership and I paid for. I listen to my satellite backand work during my afternoon walk with the dog in the morning while I eat breakfast (something to listen to channel 75 to Frank's Place, the first thing in the morning), you name it, so I know my money's worth.
If it is within the budget, you might consider buying, I say go for it. This is a great listen, and I'm sure you get hooked like I did.
